Where to put that vase??

Having 5 children, you tend to end up with lots of crafts and gifts they bring home that you just don't know WHAT to do with!!! My three middle children each brought home a Mother's Day vase and flower when they were in about 1st or 2nd grade. The vase was always cute, but the flower quickly died. What to do with that vase???

I finally came up with the idea to use artificial plants and display them by my front door. I like it when I have a great idea!!!!

Who am I???

Well, a funny thing happened on the way to trying to be a "good mom..." When my son Kevin was getting ready to leave for a mission for the LDS church, I thought it would be a great idea to start a blog for him where we could post letters, pictures, etc. However, I did NOT take into account that using my email address would also kick all of my profile info into his blog!!! I went in and changed the info to work for HIS blog; therefore, many of my posts and info pages show the name Kevin. But...I really am Pam, Pam I am....

How this blog came to be....

For several years I have been piecing away at writing a book. I have always figured that someday I would publish it, but I have been mostly writing it for my family members - a way for them to get to know me a little bit better.

I was recently telling my hubby Jeff that I was concerned about how well this book would go over because my chapters are so short. The more I thought about it, I realized that they are the perfect size for a blog!!!

So, to my close friends and family who read this, this is "who I am" and the things I think about. To those of you who don't know me, I hope that something I say might touch you to think about things in a different perspective, or that they might cause you to have a deeper desire to find Christ in your life.
